Sacrificial Love
What does Sacrificial Love mean?
Remember back when Abraham took Isaac up to Mt. Mirah to sacrifice him to The Lord as he was commanded to? BUT God intervene & placed a ram in the thicket that ended up being sacrificed.
God also placed Jesus on Mt. Mirah, which is also called Calvary, as the sacrificial Lamb for us.
Christ is the fulfillment of Sacrificial Love:
So let's end this year and begin the new year as imitators of God and walk in love as Christ walked in love so much that He was the ultimate Sacrificial Love.

Christ is the fulfillment of Sacrificial Love:
- For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45)
- And He said to all, “If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. (Luke 9:23-24)
- And He withdrew from them about a stone's throw, and knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me. Nevertheless, not My will, but Yours, be done.” (Luke 22:41-42)
- “For God so loved the world, that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
- Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. (John 12:25)
- Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)
- But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
- I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. (Romans 12:1)
- Who, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. (Philippians 2:6-8)
- Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ. (Philippians 3:8)
- He entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of His own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption. (Hebrews 9:12)
- By this we know love, that He laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. (1 John 3:16)
- Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. (Ephesians 5:1-2)
So let's end this year and begin the new year as imitators of God and walk in love as Christ walked in love so much that He was the ultimate Sacrificial Love.
