A desire God has given X Factor Church is to reach the neighborhoods that surround us with the Gospel. How do we, as a church, do that? Romans 10:17 tells us that "faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." We share our faith with our neighbors, coworkers, and friends. We tell them our story, we share our hope, we build relationships, and we love our neighbors. We welcome people into our homes and our church buildings. We listen, we empathize, but most importantly we share what God has accomplished through the Gospel. This is the essence of evangelism—sharing the Gospel—confessing Christ as the solution to sin.

Let us pray God prepares peoples' hearts to hear the Gospel and prepares our hearts to share our faith and hope. Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 9:37-38 that "the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." We challenge you to pray that prayer each morning over the coming weeks and see how God works. If done earnestly, we anticipate the Holy Spirit working in you and your neighbors.
