Access to food is vital, and, sadly, is a struggle for many in our city. As servants of God, we are called to help care for those around us in every aspect of life. In regards to food, we have a fully outfitted trailer, which is a licensed commercial kitchen. We use this to help provide meals to individuals in the community, whether by going out into the city or stationing at the church and inviting people to come get food. We are seeking to help alleviate the food insecurity that so many struggle with.
We currently use this trailer in the preparation of warm meals through our Feed the Kids Ministry, to provide food at our outreach events (Fall Fest, Easter, etc...) and to prepare our weekly meal for our TraX programs.
Food is both a necessity for life and a way to bond and build relationships. Our aim is to provide healthy and delicious food to those in need in our community as well as to the members of the church in order to share the love of God and grow together in community.
